Quincy's Sealing

On January 1st 2010, Quincy was sealed to Paul and Heidi and they all became a forever family. The sealing was so special. Seeing Maddie and Quincy come into the sealing room all dressed in white. Quincy was unusually talkative and so happy. The sealer told us how when we are sealed we get to have the blessings that come from having family members on the other side guide us and help us. We are happy that Quincy is part of our family and that he gets to have those blessing from our family members that have gone before us, and his family members also. We know that many were there in the room with us. He is a special boy, and we know Heavenly Father must love him a lot to send him to such a great family that loves him. Christmas Eve and Christmas Day

Mom and Dad came to our house for Christmas Eve and Christmas Day in 2009. We spent Christmas Eve at the Palmers.

Dad became the Dog Whisperer. And the Cat one too. Mom loved her tickets to see Brian Regan.

Bill was giddy about his charcoal starter.

Ashlee sat in the middle, since it was all about her anyway.

And I even got to open some presents.

Some People Have Christmas Day... We Have Christmas Month!

Ever since I was a little girl I have always loved the month of December. Not because it is Christmas, but because we would always have so much family time in that month. My Dad worked for the Department of the Interior and he would have tons of "government" vacation time left each year that he had to take. So he would always take it in December. Since Mom didn't work, and we were out of school, we would spend it together. Now that we are all grown and have our own families we still try to get together as much as we can around the holidays. Sometimes, like this year, 2009, it is difficult and we have to go back and forth to make it work. For instance Bill, Ashlee, and I traveled to Utah on December 17th and then I had to be back to work so we headed back to Montrose through Christmas. My Mom and Dad came to our house on the 23rd and spent Christmas together. Then we all went back to Utah on the 29th to see Heidi and Haley and spend New Years together. This year we did a lot of fun things together. Here are some of them: The girls all went to Tai Pan Trading Company one day.

We played our family's favorite card game "Hand/Foot". A game that my Grandparents learned while in the Dominican Republic.

Everyone does puzzles, especially Ashlee and Haley. Grandma lends some support.

Of course, Dad worked on his bowling skills and then blamed the TV when he didn't get enough pins down.

And more Wii at Heidi's house. The famous Wii Cheer. We compete against each other to see who is the best cheerleader.

Carter Tolzmann

On December 17th, Grandma Bradley's actual Birthdate, Haley's son Carter was born. He was a little early and he had a rough time learning to eat. He also had jaundice and had to stay in ICU for almost a month. We traveled to Utah in December to see him and couldn't. Traveled again in January and still had to wait a week for him to get home. He finally got to come home on January 2nd.

Grandma Bradley's 90th Birthday

On December 19th 2009 my Grandma Ruth Bradley celebrated her 90th birthday. All of us kids, my Uncle Jim, and Uncle Tom, and my Mom and Dad traveled to Ogden Utah to my Grandma's nursing home to celebrate. She didn't know we were going to have a party for her and she was excited.

So You Think You Can Dance

On November 16th 2009 Ashlee and I went to the SYTYCD Tour in Salt Lake with my Sister Heidi and some of my cousins. We are all huge fans of the show and watch it faithfully each week. The tour however was hands down the coolest thing I have ever seen. I couldn't believe how great the dancers were in person. They were all so amazing and the crowd in Utah (huge dance State) loved it and that made it even better. Ashlee and I had a blast and it was fun to be there with all my family.


The top picture is of Jeanine (the winner of the season) and Phillip. They kept trying to do their Russian dance, which was the joke of the season. It was hilarious. The second picture is of all the top dancers in the season.
